The final Sleigh Ride
By Santa Ben Belhorn
On Christmas Eve, they'd gather 'round,
In red and white, with laughter sound,
The Ohio Santas, jolly and grand,
A merry band, across the land.
With sleighs and reindeer at the ready,
They spread cheer, their hearts so steady,
To bring joy to young and old,
With stories, songs, and presents bold.
But now the sleighs are parked away,
And the reindeer have gone to rest and play,
For some of our Santas have passed,
Leaving memories that forever last.
Their smiles and laughter, now a memory,
Their kindness, warmth, and joviality,
The love they shared, now felt in pain,
As we say goodbye and mourn their gain.
But let us remember the joy they brought,
The magic they created, that cannot be bought,
And as we bid them farewell with pride,
We know they're taking their final sleigh ride.
Up to the heavens, they'll soar and glide,
To a place where Santa always abides,
And with the angels, they'll sing and dance,
Forever shining in a celestial romance.
So let us honor their legacy,
Their kindness, warmth, and joyful energy,
As we keep their memories alive,
And cherish the moments of their final sleigh ride.
