Mrs. Ellen Claus is a proud graduate of Charles W. Howard Santa School, International University of Santa Claus, The Worldwide Santa Claus Network (The Santa Conservatory), the Professional Santa Claus School and Becoming Mrs. Claus.  She is also a member of M.A.P.S. (Michigan Association of Professional Santas), I.B.R.B.S. (International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas, S.E.M.S. (South East Michigan Santas), Great Lakes Santas, the Santa Claus Network, Mrs. Santas and Mrs. Claus Success Path.  

She was born into a family of educators who instilled in her the love of education.  Mrs. Claus has a PhD in Education Administration, Master’s in education, a Bachelor’s in Early Child Development and an Associate’s Degree in Christian Education. Mrs. Claus just loves learning!  She has a diverse background in education with over 25 years of experience. 

Mrs. Claus was the owner of Diamonds and Chrome Tea Room in Canterbury Village and in Fenton MI and was the number one tearoom in Michigan for innumerable years.  Mrs. Claus just love tea parties!  She also loves theater!  She has been Mrs. Claus at Canterbury Village, in several Christmas plays at the Fenton Village Players, Story Time/Hours at Libraries & Schools, Cookie Decorating Parties, Tea Parties and Parades throughout the years!  

Mrs. Claus has even had her own radio show with WPON for several years! 

Mrs. Claus has been married to Santa Tim for many, many years and have 7 children, 6 grandchildren and has been a foster parent!  As you might have guessed Mrs. Claus favorite holiday is Christmas and her favorite quote is “Mrs. Santa Claus is the heart of Christmas.” ~Mrs. Santa, Ellen Terpening
